Sequoia Trees and Christians
The Sequoia trees of California tower as high as 300 feet above the ground. Strangely, these giants have unusually shallow root systems that reach out in all directions to surface moisture. You will seldom see a redwood standing alone because high winds will quickly uproot one growing by itself.
Don't Toss It Away
When we lived in Wisconsin, occasionally we’d take our kids to UW basketball games. During some of the time-outs, the cheerleaders and pom-pom girls would go through the seating areas and throw little red basketballs into the stands for people to keep as souvenirs.
